Understanding Money Dynamics…
This stuff we call “money” is a distinctively human invention. We conceived it, we created it, and we gave the government the power to print it.
We have given money immense power and almost final authority over the decisions we make and we routinely allow money to dictate the terms of our lives. It has become the single most controlling force in our lives.
When you understand what’s important about money, it will be a catalyst for greater wealth, greater contribution, greater meaning and greater satisfaction in your life.
In America virtually everything in our lives and every choice we make, the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the neighborhood we live in, the schools our children attends, the work we do, the future we dream of, whether we get married or not, who we marry many times, do we have children or not, even matters of the heart, everything is influenced by money or the lack thereof.
Money is not an option. It is a requirement. Money is one of the central linchpin issues all of our lives.
Money provide confidence, security, guarantees and certainty.
Money is a singular thing. It ranks with love as man’s greatest source of joy, and with death as his greatest source of anxiety. Throughout history, it has oppressed nearly all people in one of two ways, either it has been abundant and very unreliable or reliable and very scarce.
Money converts: goods and services, property, talents, currencies and medium of exchange, medium of verbal or intellectual expression, checks, credit cards, cash, stocks, mutual funds, bonds, I.O.U’s, the sweat of your brow into a commodity that can be easily traded or shared.
We have to teach families how to make their money work the hardest it can for them and their family.
We have to teach them to understand money…how it work…how to grow it… how to enjoy it… how to protect it from the vicissitudes of taxes, inflation market fluctuation, planned obsolescence, and other eroding factors. Finally, we have to preserve it for future generations.
When we align our relationship with life and our relationship with money, we are empowered in unimaginable ways.
Our relationship with money so profoundly defines us it either limits us or empowers us.
When we align our relationship with life and our relationship with money, we become much more conscious of how we earn, spend, invest, donate, and steward our money.
No one escapes the powerful push and pull of money. Everyone reacts to the ups and downs of money in our life.
Money is the most universally motivating, mischievous, miraculous, maligned, and misunderstood part of contemporary life.
Money is the medium of generosity and cooperation.
